That being said I have made my decision that I will restore the 67 Short Fleet and probably drive it for a couple of years so I can get my enjoyment out of it. Then maybe Donate it to my Son In Law who is probably heading to afganistan the end of this year. I have restored a 64 Chevy Short Fleet for one of my Sons and now am finishing a 69 Long Fleet for my Oldest Son. I have learned a whole new respect for my Sons and their tallents and patients in restoring these old trucks. Not to mention just the fact that I get to spend time with them. Dont get me wrong, I love these old trucks but I Love the time I get to spend with my sons doing them more.
