New Guy. Well Kinda

New to this part of the board but not the rest of the board. Picked up an 84 K5 Blazer over the weekend. Not a bad truck so far. few things that will need addressing like the tranny and some dash stuff not put together very well and its gonna need some seats. Ill post pics tonight. Was swamped all weekend so I didnt have a chance to take any. This is my second K5. My last one was a 79 that my dad gave me. Great truck and hated to get rid of it but it was sitting and the wifes transmission went out so had to sell it. Looking forward to chattin with the group.

Re: New Guy. Well Kinda

not a bad score but that paint is soo 80's.

IMO Flat black or primer black would be killer.

Re: New Guy. Well Kinda

Heck I was just amazed that one of my Toys had paint!! LOL I kinda like it but green is not my favorite color so it will get painted eventually. Right now its needs other things like the tranny rebuilt and a decent interior and the instrument cluster wired back together like it should be. But right now I have a house to finish so till that gets done the jimmy is on the back burner.

Re: New Guy. Well Kinda

First thing i gotta get done is the tranny. My transmission buddy quoted me 350 to rebuild it. Hes awesome when it comes to transmissions. After hes done it will be just about bullet proof. Never had a tranny of his fail me yet.
