Mudder67 - question about your custom dash
I saw in another post you used a 5" tach and speedo, an 3 3/8 fuel guage and 4 2 5/8 pro comps. Of course you are using oil pressure, water temp and I assume a voltmeter, but what is your 4th small guage?
Also, are you happy with your setup, anything you would change at this point?

Doesn't look like Auto Meter is making a 3 3/8" fuel gauge anymore. I really liked the way that fit in with your gauges.

Jack are you sure they aren't making the 3 3/8 fuel guage? I just got mine about 2 months ago. It is liquid filled. I really like the setup I have now but would get the rings at some time that angle the smaller guages up a little. Its hard for me to see the tops of the small guages. The fourth guage is a tranny temp guage. If they aren't making the fuel guage they also had an oil press, water, and volt that came in the 3 3/8 I believe.

I called Autometer the other day and asked about the 3 3/8 fuel guage, and confirmed that they no longer make it. What a bummer, you have such a sweet looking setup, and I'm sure that more than one of us was interested in diong the same type thing.

I would call Summit or Jegs and see if they have the 3 3/8's in stock. They may still have some.

I put the part number in that you posted a while back for the fuel guage and it came back as out of stock or something on Jeg's web site. I think the oil pressure in 3 3/8" would be pretty cool - I watch the oil pressure guage like a hawk anyway so that would be nice to have it bigger and right in the center of the cluster.
When you go to doing something like this, do you completely stay away from the factory wiring and run all fresh or did you reuse some of the wiring? I've never had the back of the guage cluster torn apart so I don't have a clue what I would be looking at.

I started all from scratch with all the guages. I got electric guages except for the speedo. Was really pretty easy. The new turn signal lights and bright light were wired into the old wiring harness. Its pretty easy to find those. I bought lights from a parts store for the turn and birght light.

Jack I just started with a new Bezel and ground the bottom holes out a little. Since they are tapered you think you are taking so much out but its not really.

What do you do to secure the gauges? I know I shouldn't jump into this right now, but I sure would like to do the dash while I have the truck torn apart. I'm a glutton for punishment I guess?
So what would it take to get you to hit the Winfield car show that Barn9 has posted about - it would be quite a drive for you, but would be great to meet you. I know you would be tempted to try to trade your truck for mine - but I wouldn't let you do that. LOL.

The guages come with brackets that will secure them just fine. I would probably back nto your new paint job backing into a spot at the show. LOL..........I would like to come to it but it is pretty far. Having a room, free food and a nice looking Dorthy from Kansas to keep me company would make it more tempting.

The part number for the fuel level gauge is 5514.
Summits web site listed that part number as "N/A". I did find it listed at overboost.com.

Hey Mudder, I've got a spare bedroom, but the only Dorthy available around here would be a tight fit in the bed of your truck, LOL! She's a good cook though, LOL!

Geez, Mudder67, I was gonna say, I'd give you a free room, free food, but by gawd I don't make a very good Dorothy! Actually if you were gonna make the trip you should probably wait for the fall Ark City Last Run in September I believe. That show is incredible for around here, last year there were at least 1,200 vehicles.
