i bought a 73 blazer 4x4 and have been thinking about changing it to a 2wd. i also have a 94 g-20 short van that needs another 4l60e, this will be the 3rd transmission in 146,000 miles.

my question is can i use the front crossmember and suspension, and the complete rear suspension to make this a light 3/4 ton blazer? i would rather use everything i can off of the van instead of scrapping the whole thing.

any ideas?
