Re: Should I install a Performer Intake and 4 barrel carb on my stock 307?

I love when I see someone listing a carb that has been jetting from a 750 to an 850 or vise versa. Jets only control air/fuel ratios....not cfm. Course, if you want to get techincal, I guess you could have something jetted so fat that it would slow the cfm but lets keep this simple.

Jetting will do nothing and with Ed's in involves jets and metering rods. I don't know about where you are but 1850's pop up on craigslist all the time for $25. You just have to make sure you get one that is worthy of being kitted. If it's too far gone, it will require additional rebuilding that you will not be able to do.
