How to pull a motor without removing hood
Was kinda in a rush to get this truck apart so I decided to drop the motor, trans and transfer case as a unit...right out the bottom since the front axle was already out. Worked out pretty good! less than 4 hours start to finish and this thing was stripped.

What, you guys don't think it will come back better than before?
Yeah I know, it looked just about perfect to me also... can't wait to see what's next.

Re: How to pull a motor without removing hood
Yes it dropped right thru the rails even with the exhaust manifolds still on....I did have to remove the inner frame brackets for the DIY4X cross member first but no problems after that.
