Cool truck - I have aa original black '67 with a similar patina, and a toasted right front fender as well - nice purchase and have fun with it!

Thanks guys. I just got back from looking at a 71-72. It has alot nicer bench seat. Also 5/lug manual disc. So I bought it for a 100.00 should be getting it by next weekend. Dan42 yours patina looks alot nicer than mine. When I was searching for a truck I was wanting a 66-67 but couldnt pass this 70 up. Thanks again for the kind words guys.

Pulled seat out and old house carpet out to remove old gas tank. Founf original floor mat.
 Old tank. Floors look good.  Started cleanig floor up a little.  Pretty solid truck I must say!  The very rare option " super light race float"  EWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!! NASTY fuel pickup out of old tank!!

Well a little update. I havent done much but plan on wrench hard this week I want to have truck ready for Greaserama show here in Kansas City this weekend. I have 73-87 drop spindles and all the steering from a 73-87. I installed a 90s blue 60-40 bench. Thats about all thats changed. Well lets see if I have it ready in time

67 swb stepside: disassembled, body is repaired and rust free. Chassis is ready to be broke down. EFI 454\700R4 trans. waiting in the corner of the shop. Now I just need time and a good sand blaster. |

Now that I have it tagged I drive it pretty often. Just got back from around a 90 mile round trip to Ottawa Ks. car show. Ran great did 70 most of the way. I also drive it to work atleast once a week. Puts a smile on my face alot. Not bad for a 700.00 dollar truck.
