'72 blazer fuel tank in my '59
I was going to use a mustang fuel tank behind the rear axle, between the frame rails for my '59 project. I have come across a new fuel tank from a '72 blazer that will fit well width and length wise but looks like it could be too deep at about 12" deep. Has anyone tried or used on of these tanks? Or a tank of comparable depth? Will they stick down too far if I get it up within a 1/2" or so of the bed?
