Under bed gas tank for '53
I bought and installed the under bed gas tank that Classic Parts sells. Nice tank and a bolt in with no grief. I have the tools and technology to run a hard line from the tank to the pump. Any suggestions for a filler cap/pipe and a vent?
Anyone know of a patch panel for the old cab filler neck hole? Exhaust is done and I'm very close to firing the 283 I put in. |

Re: Under bed gas tank for '53
I just built one this weekend out of sheet. I formed it by hand to form the gentle curve. Take a look at my build thread and I have a few pictures on the last page. I haven't welded it yet but hopefully I can weld it next weekend.

Does Classic offer a through-bed type of filler? Their website doesn't list one.
