my friend has a question his front brakes are locked on a 64 C20 longbed
if you try to move the brake pedal it is very hard and will not move at all.
the back brakes work just fine but the front ones are the problem. |

Hmmm,... if the brake pedal will not move at all,... how do you know the rear brakes are fine?
I would pull the front drums off and look at everything. It could be a collapsed hose, wheel cylinder, etc. Start at the wheel and start loosening brake line fittings and pressing the brake pedal,... until it releases. You either have a mechanical problem or a hydraulic problem. Also look at the master cylinder.

Stock single pot system, or has it been converted to split?
