door stop thing
need some help, what or were can I find a spring that hold the door stop-retainer inside the front of the door near the hinge. ihanks

The door stop mechanism is part of the hinge and usually if it does not work the the friction pads are are worn out.

there is a spring that goes from that macanism to the inside door skin that is a hold back of sorts

I found upper left hinge, no spring, I guess I wiil make one up, just a lite spring looks to be about a inch and a half long to hold that mecanism out of the way of the window runner when opening and closing thanks

My guess is that the spring has been added as the door hinges don't have springs on them.
