New guy from Texas

I'm new to the forum, I've been into Chevy and GMC trucks since before I learned to drive, my first truck was a '66 Chevy short step side and the sickness started there and has only gotten worse, I love them all, I've owned more trucks than I can count, my favorites being a '72 Custom Deluxe I had in high school, a '52 3100 that was a fairly heavily customized truck, being a 350 Olds powered roadster, and a '71 short wide with a big block, these days my project is a '69 Chevy, my daily driver is an '02 Z71.

Re: New guy from Texas

I'll have to dig for more pictures of my '52, the truck had an Olds clip with the 350 Olds and 200R4 trans, rode great, if you are planning on doing a roadster it needs a little extra bracing in the back of the cab

Thanks for the quick responce, nice looking truck. I had planned on putting in a roll bar and bracing off of it.
