64 ton wheel fitment
I have a 64 GMC that my great grandfather bought new. It came as a 3/4 ton with a 305v6 and a sm420. Someone converted the rear to a one ton. I need to know the difference in the bolt patterns over the years. I dont know what year year it has. Will the wheels fit off a 79 dually?
I want to stick a dana 60 up front later, but at the moment i need new tires and no one will touch the spilt rims. |

Re: 64 ton wheel fitment
All GM 8 lug fitments are 8x6.5" so pretty much any 8 lug wheel will fit provided the centerbore hole is big enough to clear the hubs. You can look at mid 70's to mid 80's 3/4 or 1 ton trucks for tubeless wheels that should fit no problem. Try to stay away from 16.5's as the tire choices are getting limited.
