how to remove upper control arm stud?
Well one of the upper control arm studs was pretty rusted with threads missing when I removed the shims. I imagine that this is pressed in but is there a way to remove this when xmember is bolted up? This is on a 77 xmember if that helps.

Re: how to remove upper control arm stud?
the bolts/studs have a serrated knurl, like a lug stud. screw the nut on until it almost is flush with the stud. One BFH, a couple od blows and wa la. This way you don't bugger up the threads.
