stupid hydroboost..

Replacing the hydroboost unit with a remaned unit, and the remaned doesn't come with the brake pedal rod or mounting bracket.....and for the life of me i cant figure out how to remove either of them. The bracket seems straight forward, just a gigantic staked nut to remove. The pedal rod? No idea...can someone loan me some advice?
