umm, do i have to tear my dash apart again for pics.its not right behind that pocket its back against the firewall. its essentially a 4 way subwoofer amp from what i could tell. sorry i am not tearing it apart again for pics. you should see my hands theyre covered it cuts. it was made by Dual? at least thats what it said on it...
edit: i found why that is so weird. the originalone is there for the HU the aftermarket is running to the speakers from the HU. it looked alittle fishy...

My main thought is.. Unplug the battery for 15 mins and pull the fuse for the radio. The newer gms are really sensitive to voltage spikes and the first place you'll usually notice a problem is a stereo. Hope this helps.
