7 place odometer in our trucks?
My '84 GMC 3/4 ton 2wd long box that was a factory manual 4 speed 6.2 diesel has a 7 digit odometer which is including the tenths position. I know this wasn't done on every diesel, so was it an option or a GMC thing or ????

Nope, no trip. It sure makes sence to have a 7 digit since so many older chevy's out there read 30,000 miles which you can figure is 130,000. My '84 reads 481,000... someone got their moneys worth on this truck.
