PCM programming in Phoenix, AZ
Can anyone recommend a reputable shop/person that can assist us with reprogramming our PCM?
We have a 72 K-10 with a Vortech SC'd 6.0/4L65E/NP205 combo. We used the Painless 60221 powertrain harness. Painless states that the PCM needs reprogramming prior to successful startup. At this point the engine cranks and all systems appear nominal, however it will not run. Unless I missed something, which is quite possible, I probably should have the PCM done. Any ideas, comments, suggestions? Thanks |

I thought that Painless included ECM tuning with the purchase of their harness. If not then I went with Speartech and have been happy so far.

Re: PCM programming in Phoenix, AZ
Try this place, I believe a guy named zippy (Mike) works there, he's been tuning for a very long time and very good at it. He did the tune for my truck over the phone for the 5.3L with a cam and now for the modded 6.0L. I contacted him directly, via Silveradoss.com username zippy. Here's the link for the place he works: http://www.adsautorepair.com/hp_customtuning.htm
