vintage air sure fit.....you see nothing inside but,a little bit of the bottom of the blower box hanging out under the glove box.it's all tucked under the dash.you get a smooth firewall look and get rid of the ugly stock box in the corner.as far as being "sure fit".i ran into several little things.however i now love it and it blows cubes.
Thanks brother, appreciate the info.

Re: pictures of engine compartments?

I just started working on an engine cover for my truck this week. I'm using a Vortec plenum cover and a set of Corvette coil pack covers as a base for my own custom engine cover.

Re: pictures of engine compartments?

Just removed the air cleaner and dropped the Vortec cover on. It's scary how close this thing is to fitting like a factory piece. A little trim work and a bit of fill and I think I'll be done...

I haven't gottent he Corvette covers yet. Probably have to wait until I get back from Yuba City to get them. Pay checks are just a little too small at the moment. Oh well. For now I'll just ahve to tinker with this...

Re: pictures of engine compartments?

WOW, there are some works of art out there. Beautiful. I like a clean engine...but i'm a daily driver so i don't know if i will be able to archive some of the standards you guys are setting.

Oh, man wait until you see my engine bay...the previous owner had a leaky valve cover and didn't do anything about it (for like 24 years) so i have a little build up to deal with. I was going to scrub it down this weekend but my water pump seal went so that is the new project. I will post before and after pics (of the engine bay)...they should be stark.
