Spool axle packages

I have a 10 bolt 8.5" in my 85 swb. Anyone know any spool and axle packages for 30 spline that fix this

Re: Spool axle packages

I got mine from Moser. They even pressed the c-clip eliminators on to the axles

Re: Spool axle packages

I knew about strange and mark williams and moser. I was told you could take a 30 spline posi for the 10 bolts and use 12 bolt axles in them... anyone heard of this?

Re: Spool axle packages

Yes, i checked and it is possible. This is according to Randy's and they really know their stuff concerning rear ends.

12 bolt axle's c-clip button thickness is .312 inches, while the 10 bolt c-clip button thickness is .25 inches. So, if the 12 bolts buttons are machined/grinded down it will work. You would need a 30 spline carrier of course. Would a posi change the position of the axles to each other compared to an open rear?

(how does this work, as i'm not real familiar with how axles are put into the assembly, but am learning); i'm not sure if the grinding would be nessesary if you use a spool---b/c you'd be using c-clip eliminators?

8.5 10 bolt 30 spline axles slide in with no modifications.
