one goes to the speedo connection the other to ground..... I just finished the swap with autometer gauges and it works perfectly!

Re: LSx swap Speedo ?

I have my 91 gauge cluster vss wire comming from the pcm. theres an output for it. im sure all speedos work in similar fasion, the only thing that will change is the Pulses Per Mile, which can be adjusted if you have a tuning program.

I was trying to get my dolphin speedo working and reading correctly today I have it spliced to the purple wire on the vss going to the green wire on the back of gauge. it works but needs to be programmed. can you look into your gauge and give me the numbers you have programmed so I will have a starting point?
