Same here, I was so aggravated with them I considered swapping in new doors. A friend recommended I look at what AVS had to offer. One word, awesome! My doors now work flawlessly. AVS is also a board vendor. I can't brag about AVS enough, awesome product!

My wife picked up a 2004 6.0l LQ4 for me. It is complete from oil pan to intake, fan to flexplate with the wiring harness for $975. Only thing that ddn't cme with it was the ac compressor and computer.

I used connectors that allow for adjustment. Don't use the squeeze on type connectors, they are permanent. You get a little stretch on the braided cables, you can always tweak them. I will wait and install the door panels once I finish up the rest of the interior. I don't have any problems at this time, everything is working as it should! I used electrical screw type connectors that are for ground wires. They will tighten up and hold the braided wires.
