Welcome to the forum
Cool truck, and the grandpa lineage is like way cool. Is he still around? Wondered what he would/does think about it. And with the small back window and that little hot rod peep mirror, do you hang out the window to keep from merging into people? Last edited by lakeroadster; 03-22-2011 at 02:53 PM. |

I do like those new rims! What brand and model are they? The truck is looking great. I am sure your grandpa would be proud to see you interested in his truck regardless of what you do to it. Welcome to the forum!

Re: My 1966 C10 truck (lots of pics)
You dont need an electronic speedo, a cable driven will be needed

Re: My 1966 C10 truck (lots of pics)
Here is a shot of the tailshaft of my 700r4, it shows the exciter removed (I do not know if your 400 trans mission has this or not. If you want to use a electris speedo it has to get its signal from a exciter, my problem was just the opposite and I had to go back with a manual cable driven speedo . Kieth

Re: My 1966 C10 truck (lots of pics)
Am I seeing something wrong or is your sway bar not bolted up. As far as I know its suppose to bolt to the top of the lower control arm. But yours looks to me like its not bolted at all.
Am I just seeing it wrong?

Re: My 1966 C10 truck (lots of pics)
Nice truck and quite the transformation. Did you know you can actually cut a section of frame out in the rear and replace the long with a short bed ? Ive seen it done in the past.
