Re: Any rollpan pics?

Check the last post in my build thread in signature. As far as making one good luck there's a pretty gradual curve too them.

Re: Any rollpan pics?

yeah that's the look I'm going for. Ant chance a pan off a different year or model could be made to fit?

Widened a LMC roll pan and added fender extenions for a smoother lower profile such that the fender contour continues all the way across.

Re: Any rollpan pics?

You guys that are posting pictures mind posting what brand roll pan you have and if you would buy it again. I'm thinking about adding a roll pan plus a back bumber, but I want to flip the bumper upside down and have my exhaust come out where the license plate indention on the bumper is. Just trying to think of a good place to put the plate without it looking out of place.

Thanks. Most step side roll pans are designed to be placed right under the tailgate and stick out from the fenders, like this:

Problem is you have to cut out a large chunk of the cross sill for the license plate pan.
(This photo also shows how visible a blazer tank is on a shortbed stepside.)
.

Being the kind of guy that can't leave well enough alone I modified it a bit. The rear frame crossmember needs to be relocated back into the frame to make this work, unless you use a pan without a license plate. I think if I had it to do over a would use a smooth pan and roll form the license plate to match the roll pan, and then make a slight recess in the pan for the plate. Johnny Law might not like that though.

Re: Any rollpan pics?

I like yours better, the other makes the pan look like an after thought.
