Wtb 67-72 4x4
New to posting here but I have been reading for a couple years now. Back when I was looking for the same thing but ended up with a 4X4 El Camino. Now I need to sell the Elky and get a real truck.
I am looking for a 67-72 Chevy/GMC 4X4. Not necessarily a full resto but something that has been gone right through and "freshened up". I want to use it for a daily driver so no Big Bores. A nice mild 350, maybe with a little pep. No big blocks please. K10, K20 O.K. I am in SouthEast Connecticut and would like to find something within a couple hundred miles. But I might be willing to travel a little farther. I have been totally ripped off by "sight unseen" sales so I am leery about them. But I would love to see all trucks that are available. Thanks in advance. Cheers, INKMAN

So, nobody has one? Well, then can someone at least tell me where I can find one?
I would be interested in a trade if you are interested in any of the vehicles in my sig. Everything but the 04 Sportsman is for sale.

Nice truck but I was looking for something a little bit closer. I really like that truck though. I wish you all the best of luck. No offense, but I have had too many problems with "sight unseen" sales.
Cheers, INKMAN

For the record, My last two sales went to Oklahoma (the guy flew out and drove it back) my 72 Cheyenne 4x4 one owner truck) and my 70 4x4 short bed just went to New Jersey. It took just over a week for delivery. Both guys were happy with their new toys. If you want pictures of ANYTHING or any area of the truck, Im willing to send them. No pressure but... this is basically RUST FREE and a great runner. Hard to find one on your end of the states. This has been a west coast truck all its life.. Just my 3 cents

1967 Chevrolet 1/2 Ton 4x4 Long Bed
I have a 1967 Chevrolet 1/2 Ton 4x4 Long Bed For Sale
It's a Stock Truck. 327 Engine with the original 2 barrel Carb. The Engine runs great, is still strong, sounds great. 3 speed on the Column, New Clutch. Power steering & power brakes. New brakes shoes and cylinders, new drums & Hoses in front. Transfer case and Locking hubs work. Custom Wheels, only about 300 miles on new tires. Also has a bedliner, Standard Small rear window and Custom bumper with hitch The truck is mechanically sound. The outer sheet metal is in great condition and has very little rust, only a few minor dings and it looks like there were a few spots that were repaired. The cab supports and inner rockers need work. The bed floor is rough and some of the bed rails under the floor need to be replaced. The bed is solid enough to walk on and there is a bed liner in it. There is also a hole in the dash where someone cut for a larger radio but the dash is bolt in and the vin is on the door frame so it would be an easy swap in. I had the Truck Appraised 2 years ago and it was appraised at $4700. Asking for $3000 I'm an hour north of Phila, PA E-mail me for Pics and more info kwyble@1sst.com |

That looks like a pretty good truck on Ebay, but with that da**ed hidden "reserve", you don't know if he wants $5K or $50K. Why don't they just post a starting price and we could start bidding---if we are interested? That is such a waste of everyone's time.

I will not buy another vehicle off eBay. I have been robbed there. Even after I had someone go look at the vehicle and swear to me that everything was cool with it. Now the seller doesn't have a phone, live at the same adress, or work at the same job. I can't seem to get ahold of him any way. And I have seen too many peole get taken by eBay vehicle sales. Cars, trucks, and ATVs. Although, I do look there almost every day to see what's out there. If I see one close to me I would try to contact the seller and arrange a viewing before I would bid but that never seems to happen. Thanks for the replies so far. Keep them coming. I have been looking everywhere. I guess I will just have to be patient.
Cheers, INKMAN
