Scored a 99% rust free cab

For $50 but I had an 800 mile round trip to get it

Its going to replace the cab on this truck .

...and they give you a lot of time to think about wrenching on the project.
400 mile round trips in Texas are generally referred to as "grocery runs"

One thing I noticed , the area of the firewall where the parking brake bolts to is torn I have noticed that on a few stick shift trucks , is there anthing I can spray into the cab corners and door pillar area and cowl to stop it from rusting ? I bought some oil wax type stuff years ago for the GMC but I cant remember the name .

Eastwood has some stuff for treating the inside of frames, I would think that would work pretty well.
