Survey- For those of you laying frame, how tall are your front tires
Trying to get a little marketing help here , if you are laying frame could you tell me if you are running a tire under 28 inches tall or if over 28 inches tall (how tall ?), trying to figure out if i should put out my first run of inner fenders like they are they will cover a 28 inch tall tire , laying frame or if i should modify them now and make them cover something taller.....PLEASE IF EVERYONE WOULD LET ME KNOW WHAT THEY ARE RUNNING I WOULD SURE APPRECIATE IT , THANKS MIKE

You should create a poll-
under 28 inches tall over 28 inches tall

You can add one when you post. I "think" you can add one later, but not sure. I took care of it for you.

Re: need survey help, for those of you laying frame, how tall are your front tires
right now they clear a 28 , here is what i am looking at doing, trying to stretch the top to 29 1/2 inches of coverage, BUT....this is going to take alot of work, so if there is more people running 28 and under than running over ....

Re: Survey- For those of you laying frame, how tall are your front tires
I think you'll find guys running 22's aren't going to have tires under 28", my 35 series are 29.3, a 30 series would be around 28.3, so if you are running 22's you would need a 25 series tire to clear your fenders and lay frame

Re: Survey- For those of you laying frame, how tall are your front tires
245/30/22 is just under 28" tall. its a pretty small tire but will work with the 28" fender

Re: Survey- For those of you laying frame, how tall are your front tires
run that with a 285/25/22 rear tire .They are within 1/10th of an inch (27.7 front) and (27.8 rear) so you can still have complete staggered set fr and rr.

Re: Survey- For those of you laying frame, how tall are your front tires
I would send Nate Porter a email or PM and get his input. He can tell you how many are running what size.

Re: Survey- For those of you laying frame, how tall are your front tires
I initially voted for the bigger fender but I look at it this way, if you want a clean looking fender than the 28" is the way to go that way its level with the fender and not sticking up. The fender may not be for everyone and its your dime thats making it, if making a 29" tall fender is in the budget than by all means the more trucks you can apply this too the more $$ you will make back but IMO the 28" fender is the way to go and the buyer can make the needed adjustments if they want to go outside of the intended purpose of the fender, like in my case I will just buy a smaller tire. just my 2 cents.

Re: Survey- For those of you laying frame, how tall are your front tires
28" would be the minimum so it's better to make them for 29~29.5" (and I'm not even planning to 'lay frame'). Anything smaller on a 20" or larger wheel is a short sidewall & possible rim damage.

Re: Survey- For those of you laying frame, how tall are your front tires
I say do both
If you're gonna stretch 'em, make sure they get a nice contour to match the inside as well. Form is just as important as function in this application...
