Stock Motor Mount Holes
Hi (I'm using a set of Dirty Dingo Motor mount adapters that use the stock clamshells);
any idea which way the stock motor mounts bolt back onto the frame? My clamshells seem to have one edge cut off one corner and I forgot to take a photo of which way they bolt on. Do you have two sets of bolt holes on the iron pieces that the motor mounts bolt to the cross member too? Should the LS motor sit in the higher or lower set of bolt holes? Thanks!

Re: Stock Motor Mount Holes
Well, duh!!!! The bolt pattern only fits one way...
I did however, select the higher top bolts to bolt the mounts to in case anyone is wondering. I'll edit this post later on if that is the incorrect setting. :-)

Re: Stock Motor Mount Holes
I'm glad you figured it out cuz I was scratching my head. My ECE clam shell was already bolted together when I got it. But now that you pointed it out I see the lower holes (as the picture is taken) on the clamshell are spaced out farther than the top. Although I think the cliped end goes down.
