Step Side to Fleet Side swap.

I searched it and I couldn't find anything on the subject. I'm probably searching incorretly.. I'm sure this question has been asked before. I want to change my Step Side to a Fleet Side. Is that an easy swap?

Re: Step Side to Fleet Side swap.

sort of, the bed should be from 63-66 or 60-62 cuz the frames are wider on the earlier years.

Re: Step Side to Fleet Side swap.

At the most you might have to adjust the mounting locations, but as far as I know they bolt the same. I know step vs. fleet is just sheet metal.

Re: Step Side to Fleet Side swap.

You will have to change out the tail light harness or modify yours.
