69 service truck ?

I see there is not much responses over here but I guess I will give it a shot. I need to put to put a price on this thing and move it along. 1969 1 ton dually. Cab has never seen a spot of rust, has 454 engine with vintage air. Van tilt, Tires are new. 1000 lb capacity lift gate, "Reading" all galvanized utility box. Discs up front and a dana 70 in the back. extra heavy springs in the rear

Re: 69 service truck ?

Wow. Nice truck.

Hard to price this one for sure. Because you have to find "just the right buyer" who needs(wants) a classic to use for work.

If i saw it here (Ohio) i wouldn't be surprised to find a $10K grand pricetag on it.

But in this economy i think your looking more at $7500

Re: 69 service truck ?

I would list it on one of the commercial truck sites for sale. their are quite a few.
I can see it going for over ten.I would not sell it for less.

Re: 69 service truck ?

Wow! thats pretty optimistic. With the prices you guys are throwing out there I have to wonder if you assumed the miller welder was included? (no welder or tools are included.) The area I am in is so depressed, I just dont see things selling. I have had a couple different aquaintences of mine tell me they would give me in the $2500 range. Ha! I told them it could sit in my shop collecting dust (like it's doing now)before I would let it go that cheap. Theirs answer is "it's an old truck that uses a lot of gas, no one will give you more than that"

Re: 69 service truck ?

I think 10 is about the max and the 7500 range sounds about right. The 2500 offer is just silly.

Hey Tim....since this is a WIW post, we ask that you not request to buy things here.....they are inquiring WIW...... If the OP is ready to sell this on the board, they will post it in the trucks for sale forum.
Thanks
