Wood bed assembly
My son and I are faced with a marginal short bed condition. The rear quarters are pretty rusted on the inside so we are thinking about buying repros. Having a hard time looking at another thousand for the bed bottom so we are thinking about wood. Do the inner wheel wells and quarters etc.get bedded in a caulking during assembly or is it all bolted together dry?

Re: Wood bed assembly
my bed was done dry. I would put some bedliner stuff on the bed first then put the bed in it, it will protect the metal, also make sure the prep is done right on the bed before you line it.
