72 402 casting number 3999290

I have a virgin block that says hi-perf pass on the back. Would that mean it was only in a car and was not a truck motor?

The heads are 6272292 and date 1272.

Yes. Camaro, Chevelle, or Impala I believe. I had one a while back also, and IIRC this is what my research came up with.

Have any idea what it is worth with the heads but without accessories?

I sold mine to a guy for $500. That was just the block and heads, no accessories. I think he bought it for his 72 Monte Carlo.
