69 C20 Spingle Threads
Going back together with my C20, and have found that the threads on the drum brake spindle is messed up a little. Don't want to force it, so need to find a thread chaser or possibly tap and die for it. Any one solve this problem before? Does any one know what size and thread pitch these are?
Thanks |

Re: 69 C20 Spingle Threads
I'm not sure about the 2wd spindles, but the 4wds use an odd pitch. I could not find a die or thread file made to work...and tries them all. It would take a special GM tool. I took a jewelers file and dressed the problem area enough to make it work. It was like a 15 per inch pitch.
