Red face 73 gmc cluster gauge plug

Hi, do the wires from the plug get attached to the fuse block. For example, the temp sending wire gets attached to the temp wire on the plug. Does the amp gauge wire go the alternator. Need suggestions. Thanks

Re: 73 gmc cluster gauge plug

dfleming7- i compared my old fuse box setup to the wires coming from the plug and followed each wire on the cluster gauge film diagram. I am installing a new 21 circuit Ezwiring fuse box. They have stamped wires coming from the new fuse box. These wires get connected to the senders, like the oil sender. The cluster plug is numbered on each side and identifies each wire. Follow each wire on the diagram to their specific gauge. The wires coming from the plug are connected to the fuse box. In your cluster you have amps, oil, temp, gas and maybe a tach. I have a clock which gets connected to a spade in the fuse box for power. Hope this helps. classicGMC73
