1968 c10 4x4
Hey All,
I am new to the forum here and I am looking for a little help. What I have is a 1968 LWb 4x4 The truck was origanly a 2wd and was converted to a 4x4. It has a modified 350 and a saginaw 3 spd. Problem is that the 3 spd is not going to hold up. Alread having clutch problems linkage hanging up etc.. I need some recomendations for a good replacement transmission. Also original rear end is still in the truck. Not good for the 4x4 enthuiest. Need a few recomendiations for that as well. Thanks for the help in advance. |

Welcome, from a fellow Texan. Mine is a 67, should be same rear axle. They are pretty good, untill they aren't, then hard to get parts for. Post up some pics.

Re: 1968 c10 4x4
Is it a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton? If its a 3/4 i would go with a 14 bolt rear. There strong and cheap.
