Install Ignition Coil
I'm installing a new ignition coil for the first time. I am taking off the distributor cap which has 4 spring hooks they came off easy enough. Now I want to take off the electric connections. Is there any tricks to get these off? Once they are are off should the cap come right off?

Re: Install Ignition Coil
One of those pocket sized screwdrivers carefully prying the clips away from the cap has always worked well for me.

you can spread apart with your finger, but be gentle..

Re: Install Ignition Coil
Got it off and replaced the coil. Was easy to get the wires off the cap once I took it off. Thanks...
