body mount install
How tight do you get the body mount bolts. At first I torqued them down until they clamped down on the metal sleeve on the inside. But then the lower rubber just seemed bulged too much. It was bulged all the way out and looked like it would almost split. I loosened them up so the rubber is just slightly bulged and have been driving it like that. Thinking about it a little more I fell that unless I tighten it up against the sleeve or something the body is just kind of floating on there. Maybe thats the way its supposed to be? Anyone have any insight for me, and maybe a torque value?

Re: body mount install
I don't know the answer but that is a good question. I hope to do mine soon and would like to know too.

Re: body mount install
I also am curious about this. I installed enegry suspension blk on my 67 k10. Their installs say 78lbs for all mounts. Those are three different diameters of bolts. The back two, under the tank did torque down properly. The front cab ones torque to 50 but any higher it feels like something is stripping or bending. I have not gone near the small 3/8 bolts on the core support. What is proper torque value for the varous mounts?
