Autometer Tachometer and Signal

Hey guys ... I have a new autometer Tachometer ... what I have a HEI module thats being triggered off a magnetic pickup , I am generating 4 pules per rev .
I am generating a pulse right off the module , the C terminal . The Autometer tach is not reading this signal .
I'm going to contact Autometer , any insite into this ?

Are you certain your tach has a good power and a good ground?

There should only be 2 hookups, 12v and tach on the HEI. Don't hook your tach light and 12V to the same lead to the tach.

i was gonna say, all u got is Power, Ground, Signal (tach input on drivers side of HEI dst. cap) and Light
