Quick tire and wheel question.
I am getting my 76 c10 ready to run at the track and am looking into DOT cheater slicks. I am thinking that I want to run Hoosier Quick Time Pro 29x11.50-15 on the stock 8" rally. Will I have any fitment issues or rubbing with that size and profile?
Thanks guys. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Quick tire and wheel question.
Summit lists that tire as being 29.3" tall with 10" of tread and to be mounded on an 8-10" rim. So by putting it on a 8" rally you will be fine but you won't be getting the full contact patch the tire has and it will bubble the side wall a little due to the narrower rim. There should be no clearance issues though.
Personally I try to put a tire on the widest rim suggested because it gives you the full contact patch of the tire and actually gives the best wear and traction.
