I'm not making fun of your ingenuity....i think it's great! reminds of some of the stuff i have done...especially being in the Army for 21 damn years...i have had to come up with some crafty tools....i was just thinking...."honey, the neighbors at the door, wants to borrow ALL of your vice grips and clamps...."lol....

It is an old thread, but Im wondering if anyone knows if the replacement Hatch that Brothers Trucks sells for $695 includes that latches and internal metal hardware as illustrated in this thread? My impression was you just needed to add your own lock and handle - and they sell that too.

I would make sure of their return policy if you end up buying that hatch. The repro one I bought wouldn’t even close hence the pictures earlier in this thread of me altering it and gluing it back together with a million clamps
