Re: anyone run a crankcase evac kit on street?

My buddy put an evac kit on his car, a 1964 Ford Thunderbolt clone. High revving small block ford. The evac kit worked so well, it sucked out oil too and his car smoked like crazy... so it took it off never to be used again....

Re: anyone run a crankcase evac kit on street?

I ran one on the street in a roller cammed, 12.5-1, dual 660's, 401 in a cj-5 Jeep, which shot flames out the side about 3 feet. Only vehicle I ever had that could lift the front end.

The evac was fine. You've got baffled valve covers and try not to put it right over top of a pushrod if possible.
