door jamb switches
Any body know how to install the door jamb switches? My trucks either never had them or never worked and I didn't bother to fix them. I bought new ones for the truck I'm redoing. I'm thinking on opening the holes up and tapping them. What do you guys think?
Thanks, Brian |

Re: door jamb switches
If you have the correct ones they will self thread into the holes

Re: door jamb switches
be careful, they strip out easy since its only sheetmetal and the threads arent all that fine.

Re: door jamb switches
I have these switches but someone along the line pressed them in permanently so the interior light never comes on with the door. I am sure this is an easy replacement but where can I find them and are they expensive?

Re: door jamb switches
Thanks for response. That's what I thought but wanted to make sure first.
I got mine from Classic Industries. Not expensive at all. |
