A hello from Leidschendam, the Netherlands/Holland

Hi there, I'm Michiel from Holland and since 2 months a owner of a '72 Suburban....

my Burb is in a driveble state and will need a lot of TLC.... technically it is in a good state but it has some rust issues and the paint is 60% original... as far as I know it has the org. 402 engine and TH400.

@ the moment I don't really have have big planes or projects planned since it's my DD but in the future I would like to bag it and make it more comfy to drive for the mid/long distance

I drive around on LPG, in Holland easy to get and a lot less expensive than fuel ( 1 L of fuel is $ 1,80 or something like that) so the car has an LPG system.

I will look around and will try to figure out this forum and will post a bit more on my Sub and my self in a later stage....

So that's for this at the moment.....

Welcome from Iowa! My mom's parents were from Holland,I guess that makes me a little Dutch. That Sub is pretty big over there isn't it?

Hey Indian113,
Jepp, a Suburban is huge over here in Europe/Holland
roads, parking spaces, corners etc, are not really designed for cars like that and I do stand out a bit in the Yellow school bus
