Yeah, that ram jet intake adds some much needed height. Slap a vintage air serp set-up (or for cheapskates like me, GM's version) & call it the KISS pkg.
Not sure on those dyno #'s.... around 800 on motor & a little over 1K w/juice???? I can't remember.... I've slept since then.

I've been considering the BB Ramjet for my 67 project. My reluctance is I want to keep the 'nostalgic' look under the hood (or something close to it anyway). I want to pop the hood & you see nothing but motor & big valve covers. All the accessories hidden down under, all wiring hidden or routed very analy, but fuel injected.
My requirements sorta rule out the cool long runner GM intake/throttle body arrangement. I'm still considering an Edlebrock Perf RPM top end pkg w/ProFlow FI for my 468 currently residing between the rails. That should give me FI performance w/the look of a carb. I'll try & get Roger & Keith to help figure a way to camaflouge the fuel rails & the throttle body is hidden under a nostalgic style air cleaner. What do 'ya think?

MattA, I know, I know. KISS.... but I'm the first to admit if it's not in there before start-up, it prob won't go in @ all. Once it's drivable, I don't plan on tearin' into it for a long while.... @ least the same amount of time it's been apart.
I wan't the retro look, but not concours. Ken your headed in the right direction (if you only knew how close). It will be 'slick nostalgia' under the hood. Not engine painted body color smooth.... more along the lines of factory looking, but slicked.
