proportion valve?
Anyone know if a 73-newer proportion valve will work for a 72 disc/drum set up its the last pice of the puzzle I need to sort out

When I did discs on my '69, I used the MC and prop valve from a donor '75. I don't think any of the disc/drum valves are different.

The oem 71-72 prop valves have only 1 front line outlet.
(since the line has a tee fitting, down on the crossmember) The 73-87 prop valves have 2 front line outlets, with two individual lines that run to each front wheel. The 73-87 prop valve will work,... you just have to "plug" one of the front outlet ports.
