My truck moves under its own power for the first time! Now I can get it in the garage to continue working on it thru the winter, I'm Happy! Watch the video.

Dude awesome man !!

Love the ignition switch ....

I had the same kind in an old VW ... all I had to do was was just reach over into the back seat ...

Outstanding! I don't know who Michael is, but it seems he takes lots of abuse around your place.

Pullin a brodie in your driveway - awesome.

That sounds sick, in a good way.

What motor and exhaust do you have in that?

Re: It's Alive, It's Alive, Ha Ha Ha

Michael is my stepson, yes he takes a pounding, but he's tough. Engine is a 350 with a performer rpm intake, Edelbrock 650 carb and home modified headers, there is no other exhaust yet, Cam is stock but not for long. Thanks for the complements it helps motivate me to take the next step and get it on the road.

I removed the latch from the door, inspected it and found that it was actually bent from pulling on it from the inside handle, I put it in the vice and bent it back with a adjustable wrench, I also pounded the rivet down so there wouldn't be so much play in the inside release lever pivot, cleaned and lubed it, reinstalled it, all good now, I'm gonna do the other one tomorrow

I just checked mine... Same issue. Gonna tear it out and get it done. My wife is the door-flying-open-in-traffic-queen!! She can't shut the pass door to save her life (LITERALLY!!) Thanks, Leadfoot.
