That's how a fender member wancosc356 sold me was packaged, The edges had that thick structural cardboard on all the edges beneath the outer layer. I find members here tend to be very conscientious with their packaging,as a rule.


Sharpie shipped me a pristine fender,like new take off quality,in a plywood crate. Both via Greyhound with nary a scratch.

Now that wood crate is pretty slick! To me packaging says a lot about the person sending it.
