underdash air
who is running them how do you like it. I just bought a 70 c-10 swb in a sealed sale this week and Iwas thinking about the plans for it. I am talking power steering and power brakes t-5 overdrive smoothbowl tilt column. I have acouple of parts trucks to get this stuff off of. one 68 C-10 I have has a under dash air unit still there. What all would I need underhood besides lines, compressor , drier and condenser. I have some condensers off a later model of truck I could use as well the compressors[means I may have to plan a serpintine install as well] Any help or input would be appreciated

I have one in my '70 and it works great. It has a York compressor, condenser, and I put a new dryer on it that I got through NAPA. The guy that charged it for me recommended a new drier since it had been sitting for so long without a charge. LockDoc

Re: underdash air
I wish I still had mine It looked just like yours but it was on my 6 cylinder. The only reason I took it out was the Arizona sun dry rotted the plastic on the unit in the cab and it broke into several pieces. Sucked cause I could of used it on this long summer.

Re: underdash air
Lockdoc, could you give us some more info on the unit you have? I like the looks of that one versus the larger units.
Thanks.
