Cool. I had a 97 f250 with injectors, tune, propane injection, etc... It was a lot of fun. Tough to keep tires on the back and tranny in working condition, LOL.

This re-enforces my already warped desire to own a diesel. I don't long haul, or tow anything (i drive my 66 to all events), but I still want one

Re: Dieselwrencher and company's toys

Kyle bought it from Brandon and got it running this year. We have helped him as much as he has asked/needed when we can. The truck keeps getting better and better and last night went 29.7mph in both his wins.

Re: Dieselwrencher and company's toys

you have that chance everytime a 1000HP plus truck or tractor hooks to the sled. At Schied I heard that a tractor broke his draw bar. Us as competitors don't have a say where people sit or stand. Those guys were told prior to us hooking to move their asses because that is where we were going.

There's a lot of safety equipment on the sleds and trucks these days to try to minimize bad situations. That truck right there hauls the mail. Some people just don't listen.

Re: Dieselwrencher and company's toys

To be honest the 650HP truck I pull would kill someone if it came off the sled and the air shut off didn't snuff the turbo. We have a lot of safety equipment to stop the trucks if they detach from the sled. Kyle has a 3 way dump valve and a gullitine(which will destroy a turbo if activated at full throttle) knowing what would happen if we have to use the safety equipment.

Re: Dieselwrencher and company's toys

I've been missing my 94 Dodge 12 valve running. It's been sitting for a couple years waiting for me to get time to get it running again. I finally gave up and shipped it to Mass Diesel. Hopefully Scott will have it back running again soon.
