Intermittent Wipers on 67 Pickup?
I've decided to keep my 67 Pickup so Im kinda going all out on this thing being its mine. Being that Im living in Oregon and it rains all the time does anyone know if there is a replacement for the wiper motor that would make this truck have intermittent wipers? Turning on and off the switch gets old.

What rain? Yes there are a few options available for delaying your wipers, it would be a new added/or a modified control swith and not the actual motor though. Try doing a board search here, lots of info should come up. Mel

I agree with Mel on the search and I would use the Google search box at the top of the page. Just type Intermittent Wipers into the box, click on the circle in front of 67-72chevytrucks.com, and click on the "Google" button. Quite a bit of info there. LockDoc

http://www.jcwhitney.com/windshield-...wx?filterid=j1 havent tried it yet, it's on the to do list. Thinking it could be hidden behind the dash in the stock location and may adapt the factory knob to it.

I use a kit from J.C. Whitney. It hooks in with the present motor & costs less then $20.

Re: Intermittent Wipers on 67 Pickup?
I think board member Putter had a post on a few years ago about being able to use a delay switch out of a blue bird bus that you could easily modify our knob to fit... very stealthy... ALSO I remember seeing a board member use a 87-91 Ford wiper switch out of F150-350 that has a knob and built in delay too but I cant remember the details.... but there are two ideas anyway....

Re: Intermittent Wipers on 67 Pickup?
Thanks for all the info. I like the Idea of being able to hide the Switch or adapt to the original wiper switch.
